Our History
The first McCarthy pool was installed in Harvard, Massachusetts in 1959. Our retail store has been in business since 1962. At that time there were very few residential pools and expertise in pool installation and service was practically nonexistent. Whatever we had to learn to become successful we learned through experience. Our expertise is reflected in the selection of the products we carry and in the installation and servicing of our pools. Our longevity is proof of our success. Our 5200 pool sales are almost exclusively the result of referrals from our satisfied customers.
What We Offer
New Swimming Pool Installations
We install in-ground, steel walled, vinyl liner swimming pools in many different shapes and sizes. We are able to offer many accessories such as spill over spas, bench seats, heaters, automatic cleaners, automatic sanitizers, and safety covers which make your pool owning experience both enjoyable and easy. We use quality materials and do not use any subcontractors to install your swimming pool. Service
Our Service Department works on in-ground vinyl liner pools. We offer both pool openings and closings, leak detection, pool filter installations and repairs, and vinyl liner replacements. Retail Showroom
Our retail showroom is located at 221 Turnpike Road, Southborough, MA on Route 9 West, between Route 495 and Route 85. During the swimming season we are open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We carry a full line of water balancing chemicals and pool accessories.
